Self Hypnosis For Weight Loss Tips

Weight loss is something that is extremely hard for a lot of people to do because they are used to their old habits of eating certain foods and not exercising. With all the temptations that are present around the area, it is extremely hard to keep up a good attitude and mindset when it comes to losing those unwanted calories. It is for this reason that many people actually go for self hypnosis for weight loss.

Now if one is interested in trying out this kind of thing, then he would have to be familiar with meditation because self hypnosis is very similar to meditation. When one would start, the very first thing that he would have to do would be to find a very quiet place where there is no people or noise. When he has found that spot already, then he just has to sit down, close his eyes, and relax.

Now if one has a hard time relaxing, one thing that he can do would be to listen to some music from his mp3 player or his Ipod. Now he will be able to find some really good and relaxing music in the internet for free. It is recommended that one would download instrumental music as it will not give the brain any work to do.

Now once that is done, then one should now focus on the way he breathes. By doing this, he will be putting himself in a somewhat meditative trance as he is breathing slowly. Now in order to do proper breathing, he has to breathe in while pushing up the stomach and then breathing out while pushing down the stomach.

Now that one is already in a meditative trance, he may now be able to feed his subconscious with positive thoughts about losing weight. The first thing that he should do would be to imagine that there is a door in front of him. Then, he must visualize that he is opening the door slowly and imagining that his subconscious is on the other side.

Once he has opened that door, he should then visualize himself standing in front of him. The person behind the door is his subconscious mind. He should imagine his subconscious mind as a black and white version of him and he should now keep on telling his subconscious self nothing but positive thoughts.

When he tells his subconscious what to do, he has to make sure that he is very specific. Now if he would want his subconscious to for example, exercise, he has to specify what type of exercise, how many times a day he will do that exercise, and how much he will do. He can do this with other things as well like eating healthy foods and others.

When he is finished with that, he should now finish his session already. He can do this by just counting from one to five or five to one slowly then waking up from his meditative state. Now when he wakes up, he will be feeling very refreshed and will have a more positive attitude to burning off those unwanted pounds.
